Cloud Cuckoo Land is one I want to read; I have the audio. The Dinner Lady Detectives has me curious – it sounds rather fun.

Great selection Shelleyrae. I have requested the Gary Disher and the Hannah Hendry. I would love to get my hands on the Joanna Nell . . . Happy reading!❤📚

Wow, great haul! I have heard good things about The Tea Ladies of St. Jude’s Hospital and I want to read that one.

There’s quite a few references to, or pictures of, birds amid your Bounty of books. But the Michael Connelly intrigues me perhaps most. We loved the Bosch TV series. And wanted another (8th) season!

    Good morning Shelley

Thanks so much for the reviews, which I have been receiving for a while. They have been really useful and I am sure the local bookstore is very appreciative too (as I spend way too much there). I am excited to see the book in this bounty ‘This is your Captain Speaking’. My mum has a fear of flying but idolises pilots, so I thought this would be a great Christmas present for her. However, the bookstore says that it is not available until ?April next year. I see on Goodreads however that it has a publication date of October this year. Thus do you know of where I might be able to get a copy.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to provide and thank you so much for the book reviews and other information/chats that you provide.

    Wishing you well.

    Kind regards

I wasn’t that struck by Anthony Doerr’s last book so will probably give this one a miss

‘Who Sleuthed It?’ is a terrific read, and I am currently reading ‘The Way it is Now’. The others look interesting as well 😉
