I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and a lovely week with family and friends. I spent a quiet Christmas Day at the beach with my husband, children and my parents and have been doing very little else since.  Keeping with tradition not a book or bookish thing graced my stocking, actually I only got one present – it was a Apple TV box though so I have been having fun exploring that.

I hadn’t planned to but I essentially ended up taking the last week off, spending time with my family, and today is my baby’s 8th birthday. I’ve managed to sneak away while the kids watch a 3D movie of his choice since we only have four pairs of glasses and there are 6 of us, my hubby and I miss out LOL.

I anticipate another week of not getting much done, we have plans over New Years, but I’ve enjoyed the break and refuse to feel too guilty until next week 🙂
