I would love to head to a bookstore today but there aren’t events at the stores close (ish) to me and I scored to extra littluns today. Will not be going to a bookstore with 4 kids – 3 of them under 4

Because Saturday 11 August was such a cold, wet, windy day I didn’t leave the house, I celebrated National Bookshop Day on Sunday by visiting Berkelouw Books in Mona Vale. My intention was to buy The Light Between Oceans by Australian Woman Writer M.L. Stedman but they were sold out. As I went to leave the shop a new release jumped out at me – This Is How It Ends by Kathleen MacMahon, a love story set in Ireland. Only a few chapters in and I am hooked!
