Poll: How many books do you read a week?

Given the fascinating discussion between my post: On Being a Fast Reader and Rachel’s post: On being a Slow Reader, I thought it might be interesting to discover at what rate the average book blogger reads.
For arguments sake it is assumed a book has an average of 300 pages. If you regularly read books with a higher or lower page count, it would be useful if you took that into account when choosing your answer. Votes are anonymous and you can vote only once. Comments are welcome!

I voted 3 books, but it changes a lot, it can be anywhere from 3-5.

Last year I was probably averaging at 1 book per week, with sometimes getting 2 done. However, this month I’ve managed to do around 2 a week so far.

I voted one a week, it can be 300 – 600 I will definitely complete it in a week and have started another but almost never complete 2 unless it is less than 300 or a Verse Novel. If I didn’t have a 4 year old I definitely think I would be able to read 2 – 3 but parenting takes over for sure.

I usually read more then 5 a week, unless something keeps me from reading. That doesn’t happen very often.

I probably average 4 but some weeks it’s more, some weeks it’s less. Before the arrival of Rory last Sept it was probably more like 5 or 6 but my reading has dropped off a tiny bit as sleep deprivation kicks in!

Usually 3 I would think, but then looking at my stats for last year it was more than 4 a week on average.

I am guilty of reading too many books at a time but I did finish one last week, Divergent by Lauren Oliver. I usually average one a week. If I did read only one at a time, I am sure I would read more than just one a week though.

I average about 4 books a week, but always trying to read faster.
